Based upon the thread last night, it appears there is some interest in discussing what is happening with the debates and elections. To keep political and policy discussions from tainting the Giants' playoff run, I have set up this fanpost to let people discuss those issues here.

Update (10/16): New poll as to the expectations on tonight's debate. It appears to be a critical debate for both sides. President Obama needs to improve on his lackluster appearance in the first debate while Governor Romney needs to demonstrate to voters that he is a viable option for the presidency.

We all know that political and policy discussions can get pretty heated so I would like everyone to be courtesy and cordial. Please no personal attacks so that we can have a lively debate without people feeling attacked. If this fanpost starts going south, I will delete it (psuedo-mod powers!).
