One of the cool things about McCovey Chronicles is that food threads pop up all the time. No, I'm not talking election season bubbly, cake vs. pie debates, or even slapsy's n00b donuts, I'm talking sustenance. Whether it's food from our favorite ball park, local restaurants (what is poutine anyways?), an awesome food truck, a friend's soiree, or one of mom's or nana's coveted recipes, food is a constant off-topic...well, er, topic!

It's rather limiting to share recipes in a GDT, PGT, or even the odd "LOL Belt!" thread, not to mention I'm in dire need of a project, so I'm posting this to see if I can get the hungry McCoven masses to share recipes here. Ideally, I'm hoping to get enough participation for an unofficial, unlicensed, sarcasm-free, handmade cookbook (or hey! how about a digital copy? Ooooo, fancy! I'll be in touch, McC nerbz!) At the very least, I hope this is a place that you might find a yummy new recipe or two. :)

So, please, post your sharable recipes here-whether they be Giants related or not-and maybe a little blurb about it's origin/backstory/history/sentiment if you like. Snacks, beverages, salads, entrees, desserts-whatever recipe you're willing to share, all are welcome! And please, check back often!
