This is a good move for Cody, IMO. Fenway is perfect for his swing and they don’t expect much from him – the perfect recipe for success even if he just starts out in a platoon.

3 million one year Ross, 26 million 2 years Beltran, Torres cheaper than Pagan, plus Schierholtz and Belt.

That plus not losing Jonathan Sanchez and Ramon Ramirez a a minor leaguer here or there,
we would be in better shape for about the same freaking money. Giants general management
has been outsmarted once again.
