Not much to say at this point, other than please choose Gregorio so I can vote for someone else sometime in the near future.

California Leaguers beware: Chris Gloor will strike you out faster than you can say "Quinnipiac", or he would have if he had pitched more than five innings this year before getting hurt...

Hector Correa

His fastball doesn’t have pure speed, but he’s got a lot of movement. High floor reliever, even if a middle one…yea, I like it. I expect we’ll see him up in the majors as early as late this season. Could be a Romo-type when Romo gets too expensive to keep, or do the role of a Ramon Ramirez.

Payne again

He’s sitll young enough and raw enough for us to be able to expect a big jump in his on-filed results in the next 3 years. Not to mention that he already has 1 plus, plus tool (defense), 1 plus tool (speed), 2 above-average tools (hit, arm) and the real potential to develop at least an average 5th tool (power).

Some of tht seems hyperbolized o me. It’s hard to believe a player with all those pluses and above averages would fail o gain more notice.

Well, I don’t see how you can argue with the 2 plus tools, unless you totally disagree with RichH’s evaluation of Payne, and I clearly stated that his power tool grades out at bleow-average now, so I guess what you’re saying is, does he really have the above-average hit tool and arm strength? His performance in college and the NWL and the vid clip I’ve seen of him show me that he certainly has exhibited those above-average tools against lesser pitching and competition, but it reamains to be seen if he those tools remain as he works his way up the ladder. I put his late-round draft status down to the fact that he’s old for such a raw prospect and hasn’t faced much good competition in his baseball career. I also get the impression that he’s not the brightest bulb in the pack.

Payne.
After this, I honestly don’t know.

My son, so I'm told. And this stalwart young lad (Hi, free f.p. #14!).
