A Look at the San Francisco Giants 2012 Roster
Here's a look at the players for 2012 on the Giants 25 Man roster. That includes that hopefully Buster Posey and Freddy Sanchez will be there.
Starting:
Catcher: Buster Posey, Hopefully he will be healthy and on full gear for next season.
First Baseman: Multiple options here, free agents Prince Fielder or Albert Pujols. Or you might just want to stick with Aubrey Huff and Brett Pill.
Second Baseman: Freddy Sanchez, the one in early 2011!
Shortstop: Maybe Jeff Keppinger can play there even with limited range if he's going to bat, or sign a free agent.
Third Base: Pablo Sandoval, and hopefully his shoulder and quads will be fine.
Left Field: Nate Schierholtz/Brandon Belt/Cody Ross
Center Field: Andres Torres/Cody Ross
Right Field: Try to resign Carlos Beltran, or Nate Schierholtz can move back there
Let Orlando Cabrera and Eli Whiteside go and Pat Burrell will retire.
Sign Jimmy Rollins!
Bench:
C: Chris Stewart
1B: Brett Pill, Brandon Belt, Pablo Sandoval (Sandoval and Belt backups)
2B: Jeff Keppinger, Brett Pill (both backups)
3B: Conor Gillaspie (not many other options)
Get Christian, Ford, or Burriss on the bench and for pinch running.
That's 14 players including Carlos Beltran.
Pitching:
Starting Rotation: Tim Lincecum, Matt Cain, Ryan Vogelsong, Madison Bumgarner, Eric Surkamp (if he's good, or put Barry Zito in)
Trade Jonathan Sanchez for a shortstop or a another hitter.
Bullpen: Sergio Romo, Santiago Casilla, Jeremy Affledt, Barry Zito, Ramon Ramirez, Brian Wilson (Closer)
Let Guillermo Mota go and Barry Zito will be a injured starter reserve, or in place of Eric Surkamp.
I hope that sounds like a successful Giants 25 Man Roster for 2012 from my own view.

I thought there was an 18 and over policy on this site.
You know, because of the constant swearing and full frontal nudity.

Personally, I’ve grown tired of all of Goofus’s full frontal nudity on this site.
I'm thinking but nothing's happening.

I believe you have to be 12 to sign up for message board and such. One message board is paranoid, that if someone even jokes about being under 12, they will ban them.

Nice post for an 11 year old. Better than half of the board could do. (The half I’m in for sure.)
Buster Posey: still better than Eli and Stewart, even with a broken ankle.
No on Derosa, no more power and single hitters are easy to find.
We will not carry more than one back up catcher, Sanchez stays in Fresno.
We have to find a ML Shortstop or live with Crawford hitting .220, I guess trade route.
Beltran will resign if we get a hitter/hitters will not if we don’t. Reyes is an East Coast guy, Henley Ramirez might be available but no one else seems to be.
Go Giants
Jimmy Rollins
I think he’s 31, and he wants to go back home because he was born in Oakland. So I think Giants are the favorite for him.
Trade Jonathan Sanchez for a shortstop or a another hitter.
I’d rather trade Zito firsrt

Don't trade Sanchez, keep him as a number 5
First of all, his value is clearly the lowest it has ever been. Of the options he has the highest upside, as well as likely highest floor. Send Surkamp to AAA, as our health insurance policy. Zito simply cannot be on this team at the end of spring training next year, whatever that means.
