Reservations have been made:
Saturday August 20th at 4:00pm
McCovey's Restaurant in Walnut Creek
The reservation is for 25. It is a public place so even if you weren't included in the original head count you can still attend and say "My goodness!!!! Imagine meeting YOU here!!"
It would be GREAT to have a few others there a little bit early: the wait staff seems antsy about empty tables...on the weekend...at 4pm...and I get kinda tired of saying "No really, more people are coming!"
As always if you have any extra Giants related give away items: bring them. Maybe you can exchange that foam beard for a K sign.
I was just looking at a smallish box of books I was going to drop off at Goodwill.... any interest in doing a book exchange sorta thing?

Party starts when Gallo arries at the fourish target, which shouldn’t be difficult to hit given the 1 1/2 hour target from chez gallo to Coven Common. So long as we aren’t far above 25, I’ll have a present for every family attending. That’s the traditional in my countrty. Birthday boy/girl gives, not receives, the presents. If you can’t explain your presence in advance, you won’t deserve a present, and Gallo will not supply one, though a disappointed early recipient might give you that shoulder of lamb.

The point is to go and watch a game together…an away game, on the weekend, before all the kids go away for college… so we were kinda limited as to time and date.
