July 31 approaches.  It is always an important part of the year.  Not just who the Giants do or do not pick up.  But also who the competition does or does not aquire.. So, I'd love to see someone post a list of deadline targets - not just for the Giants - but also the Rockies and D'Backs. 

I just can't see the Giants standing pat.  The offense is not going to turn around without an infusion of some talent.  I don't see them getting the "one big stick" (ie Reyes, Beltran) as that will be too costly in terms of who they have to give up.  But I'm hopeful they get a couple of decent pieces to improve the anemia.
