McCoven at McCovey's: Headcount

Okay, so, the date will be August 20th. Giants v. Disastros. 4:00pm. As we actually have a real birthday on that date maybe we won't get the weird looks that we got last year when we celebrated Barry Bonds' birthday. Ha! Who am I kidding.... Hopefully this year will be a little less ummmm, ahem, weird.

Anyways...

The restaurant's website is here http://www.mccoveys.com/ in case you need directions, or you need to see the menu.

What I need now is a count: who and how many.

Sometime next week I'll call and make the reservation.

After a quick, loose count I think we're at about 16ish. I'll leave this up 'til the end of the weekend and make a reservation for either 15 or 20 depending...

But I also want to declare here (and back in the main thread) that I must be in SF all day tomorrow (Wed., 7/27) and I’m looking for a good place to watch the Giants/Phils starting at 4. It would be nice to be among real fans and, if possible, a McC or two.

And very tentative no. If I show up I will stand or sit on jporny’s lap. That’s my only day off in 12 days, so I’m not sure it will happen, but I’d love to meet Gallo and TheLetter and see you all again!
