This has been an amazing year to date.  Horrible injuries.  An early schedule that only the most ardent Ginat hater could like.  And a pile of one run victories.  Add it up and its incredible that this team is two games up.  With the deadline fast approaching - what do you see the Giants doing?  Has Crawford settled the fears at SS?  Or is their still a move to be made their if his bat goes south.  Catcher is, I believe, an acute need.  But who?  I've talked about Pudge - but only because I think he will be the cheapest to obtain.  Giving up any realprospects for a catcher makes no sense - unless they have determined that Buster is not gonna catch anymore.  Trading Sanchy?  I think his value has dropped precipitously.  Plus we have to see if Vogelsong is for real.  In short, it should be a very interesting month or so.
