What DSL Giants should we be taking notice of?
Link is to roster.
Since at such a low level performance doesn't necessarily or usually equate to a player's potential does anyone have a read on any of the players down there? Who we should be keeping an eye on, circumstances of their signing? Any info would be great!

Marvin Barios is a 17 year old that got a 7-figure bonus in 2010 out of Panema. Power pitcher. Repeating the league.
Adelberto Mejia is a 17 year old lefty that got a $350K bonus this year.
Ariel Hernandez is an 18 year old that received a 7-figure bonus in 2008, but hasn’t had much success – this is his 3rd time in the league.
Noel and Carlos Diaz are both young and in the starting rotation, so they’re worth keeping an eye on.
Carlos Cartegena and Leonardo Fuentes are big, athletic OFs who each received big bonuses ($300K & $280K respectively).
Simon Mercedes is another power arm that signed for $400K, is only 18, but hasn’t shown up on the roster yet — he might be going directly to the AZ Rookie league.
Hector Sanchez: Suck it Russell Nathan Coltrane Jeanson Martin.
I agree with everything Tedfordfan says, with two minor corrections. Barrios is 18 (turns 19 in September) and Ariel Hernandez is 19 (just turned in March) which is actually old for the DSL.
I’d add, as neither Hernandez for Leonardo Fuentes has actually made an appearance so far in the season, that it seems possible to me that they’re not actually down there and will resurface in the AZL. They could of course be nursing injuries as well, but I don’t think that you count on the roster information being perfect when it comes to the DSL.
MY DAD WAS WRONG!
MY BOY NEEDS TO THROW HARDER!
Outside of the guys that Tedfordfan and Roger noted
I’d just say that the younger a player is the more interesting he is
