Congratulations Graduates Thread

Back in the fall we had a back to school thread, so we might as well bring this around to its conclusion.

Where and or what are you graduating from?

If applicable, with a degree in what?

And what are you going to be doing next?  High school?  Undergrad work?  Grad work?  Real-world work?

Will you be moving away to some strange and mysterious place to reach your goals?

Any advice for those following in your footsteps?

And finally

CONGRATULATIONS YOU MADE IT!!!

I'm out of college and my money's spent

I have no future, I pay no rent. All my money’s gone. I have no where to go.

…but seriously…. I graduated from Chico State with a poly sci degree. Couldn’t find anything related to my major, settled for a Legal Assistant job in the City. I wasn’t expecting to be doing mainly administrative stuff with a degree, but that’s where i’m at. Grad school eventually (A social science masters or law school), but i need a break from school for the time being.

And another thing

I’d advise people not to go to grad school unless they really really enjoy what they’re studying.

That’s awesome. I admire people with the nerve and dedication to pursue a PhD. And your tip above is very appreciated.

With a single-subject English teaching credential and a MA in Education.

Further plans up in the air at this moment, but I’m really hoping to get an offer this week.
