Felipe Lopez DFA'd....

Theres something about the Rays trash can that makes me believe this could work (see Pat the Bat). Hey, couldn't be worse than Tejada. He has started over 600 games at SS, so that would not be an issue. Plus, he wouldn't cost as much as Reyes. I say go for it.

Keep in mind eight different teams that had him all decided to get rid of him. If the Giants are ever desperate enough to need Lopez, you might as well just give up on the season.

I believe we already have about five cheaper versions of Lopez.

I was in favor of adding F-Lo a few years ago, probably before the Renteria era. All this DFAing is a worry. But we have done well with ex-Floridians.
