What about Ryan Doumit from Pittsburgh.
His defense is suspect, but he is a better hitter then pudge.

I think it’s pretty apparent from the Giants recent history that they consider pitching to be the teams strength, and value catchers who receive and manage the game well. Not Doumit’s strength.
