Ford seems to be a perfect example of defying certain stats, specifically WAR.

I understand that other players could score on certain plays that he has and stolen bases that he has, but he's practically a guarantee, and despite what his WAR is, he's won the Giants 2-3 games off his speed already this season. Giants need someone with that speed, and why I believe the Giants need someone like Jose Reyes... gets on base consistently, sparks the offense, and has unbelievable speed. Ford is simply a sample size of what you'd see with someone like Reyes.

Just my opinion. Thoughts?
