It's early. Edgar Renteria is hitting .583 and the Orioles are in first place. So it's not time to get excited or panicky over anything yet. But if there's one thing I want to believe in so far this season, it's that Gary Brown is going to be a walkin', stealin' on-base machine for the Giants over the next decade. So far so good.
