Hottah than Tejada?
Er, I'm just getting back into blogging, so go easy on me -- but essentially, I don't see any reason why replacing Juan Uribe/Edgar Renteria and replacing them with Miguel Tejada will make much difference for the Giants in 2011.

The Giants didn’t do it because it made them a better team, they did it because they lost Uribe to the Dodgers. Not only that, it’s a financial thing. Tejeda at 1 year 6.5 million is a better investment than Uribe at 3 yrs 22 millon.
Buster Posey: Let's enjoy him before he goes to the Yankees because he wants to win the World Series. Wait, what???
I'll go ya one further...
They did it because they were desperate — the SS market was…anemic, to say the least. If Sabean had confidence in the move, we all know he would’ve signed him for 3-5 years, because that’s what he does with his, “This is EXACTLY what I want to do” moves (ghosts of Benitez, Matheny, et al swirling…).
How about if they sign Yuniesky next year for $6.5M, and Jack Wilson in 2013 for $7M?

Yeah, I am…rusty, to say the least. But I’m back — just decked out a new spot, but used the same name. We’ll see how it goes this time around!
