Thankfully for Nationals fans, F.P. Santangelo isn’t Rob Dibble
There's been a lot of love for Frank-Paul in Washington so far, which I suppose makes sense considering what he's replacing.

I am not a "real" Warriors fan because I don't have season tickets.
i was like why the F did they get rid of D Bruce for FP
both of them are some of the best sports talent in the world
FP sucked as a Gigante, sorry bro, but he gets better on the radio by the day,,,miss ya dogg

He's not really good
But he’s good, and he got a LOT better as he went along, to the point that I actually enjoyed listening to his postgame show.

I see what FP is saying
And for a broadcaster, I suppose that’s a good attitude, but I consider myself and all other Giants fans part of the Giants, because while we wouldn’t get anywhere without the players, we also wouldn’t get anywhere without the fans. Every real fan (that is, not a fairweather fan or bandwagoner or anything like that) is a Giant to some extent. The broadcasters, on the other hand, may not even be Giants fans, but I wouldn’t find it out of place to hear Kruk, Kuip, Miller, or even Flem say “we”. As far as I can tell, they’re fans too, and have been for a long time. They’ve earned the right.

Well, together we are. Or so I’ve heard.

"We're going!"
Um…yeah, Kruk would never say “we”.

It’s cute when it’s once every decade out of spontaneity and ebullience.
I just wanted to use that word.
I was never one of the F.P.-phobes here. He was a’ight. Eric Byrnes, though, hasn’t grown on me yet. At all.

Not yet
Rumors have it he was going to join and he may have already but his father died suddenly a few weeks ago.
Still the father of two-time Cy Young Award winner Tim Lincecum.

You know, I think I like FP the speaker a lot more than Eric Byrnes the speaker, but I’m pretty sure I like (what appears on the radio to be) Eric Byrnes the person more than FP the person. It was never FP’s style that turned me off. It was the way, every now and then, he’d say something intolerably stupid classless. When I hear Byrnes on the radio, his style is grating, but he’s always seemed like a good, solid guy.
I have just now conceived of a world in which Barry Zito is Lestat. But who is Armand?

Huh. I guess instead of choosing between those two words, I just went with both of them.

He never said that
If you’re going to rip a guy get the quote right. He said “and THEY’RE going”

I don’t think they got rid of DBruce to put FP on. I think they got rid of DB because he was annoying as phuck to the Giants players. Kinda like they got rid of Larry Krueger for hacking at slop nightly.

Apparently, Bruce made some comments about players wives/girlfriends on the air that the team didn’t want him in the clubhouse.

He probably said something about them staying in the kitchen and fixing them meals. Or some crap about their physical appearance.
I could never listen to Bruce, it was like being transported back to 1950’s Alabama or something.

How I despised you, FP
I swear, he’ll find some way to mention Pablo’s leg kick this season.
Gigante. Campeón. Andrés Torres.
Dursh nerf darsh narf. Poop.
Why do the White Sox announcers get creative license not only to use those terms but also to openly cheer for their “good guys” during the game?
Proud adopted parent of Miguel Tejada. No rings, but dude won the AL MVP once.
