Spring Training TV Schedule

Five games are currently on the TV schedule. They are as follows. This is from the Giants website and one maybe in error.:

March 7 - Texas - CSN Bay Area HD

March 11 - San Diego - KTVU

March 12 - Los Angeles - CSN Bay Area HD

March 28 - Oakland (at AT&T Park) - CSN Bay Area HD

March 29 - at Oakland - CSN Bay Area HD

There will likely be other games televised on the MLB Network. Friday, February 25th is listed on the MLB Network website at 3 PM (ET) as Teams TBA. The only game between two MLB teams that day is Diamondbacks vs. Giants at that time so expect this game to be on TV.

Nice to see a few of their Arizona games will be televised.

Too bad they aren't like the Mets, Yankees or Red Sox

They are televising 15, 14 and 13 respectively.

Those who have DirecTV can also usually get the games broadcast by other teams, a few of which typically involve the Giants. This year, I was able to find 3 such games:

March 16 @ White Sox — Comcast Chicago

March 23 @ Angels — Fox Sports West

March 25 @ Royals — Fox Sports Kansas City

I need to check and see

If my MLB.tv subscription lets me watch these. Always fun to watch a Timmy start where he throws 60% curveballs.

I think I watched some this way last year.

I feel prickishly demanding!

I couldn't be prouder of my recent adoptee - Tim Lincecum's dealer. He provides the secret fuel behind both Cy Youngs. Also, he taught Timmy the change-up.

If anyone finds other games whether by the Giants or their opponents

Add it here.

KTVU?!

Are they back as the Giants broadcast home?

by kezargiants on Feb 6, 2011 2:56 PM PST reply actions

No

Still on NBC-11. That is why I mentioned the possibility on an error.

Got it.

It’s probably KNTV, although apparently KTVU is airing a giants special tonight.
