Ventura/Oxnard

Anyone have a tip on a Giants friendly bar in this area? I'll be down there for the 9th (ring ceremony) and would like to still see it without dealing with Dodger fans stabbing me.

I don’t know any bars, but locals will find it charming if you call Oxnard “The ’Snard.”

Ventura is generally a much nicer area to be in than Oxnard. Best to head to the beach where there’s more out-of-town tourists and businessmen around. Better yet, drive up the coast about 30 minutes to Santa Barbara where there are always plenty of Giants fans, and almost no hardcore Dodgers fans.

I think I’ll try an Applebees in Ventura, have to call to make sure they have a MLB package first and would be willing to put the game on.
