Too many ML AB's to qualify as a prospect

Bochy

I actually like Bochy’s chances of bouncing back from surgery. The kid has a live arm, or rather had a live arm, before getting hurt and unlike other players his age, I’m sure he got tip-top medical care from the outset.

That being said I went Escobar again. Left handed, gets K’s, blah, blah blah.

In case you're wondering, I'm working out and plan to be in the best shape of my life come spring.

As interesting as Willoughby is

will have to keep going Escobar. When I look at Willoughby, I think Manny Burris is his upside.
At least with Escobar, if you squint really hard you might see a Jonathan Sanchez career.

Note the lack of a hyphen.

Well there's that

But he’s also left handed, gets K’s at pretty good rate, but has given up BABIP’s of .335+ in both years in the minors, which I have to believe will come down as he plays on better fields, with better defenses behind him. But did I mention he’s left handed, plus he’s got a pulse, so there’s a good chance he’ll someday make the big leagues.

In case you're wondering, I'm working out and plan to be in the best shape of my life come spring.

He’s also a guy that the Rangers were willing to give up on to keep Ben Snyder, and assuming they’re not totally deranged when it comes to spotting pitching talent, that’s a consideration worth keeping in mind.

Very true, however, the Giants system isn’t particularly deep and I don’t feel totally married to this choice at this point. I guess I just think the Escobar has a much higher ceiling than the others still left, no matter how unlikely actually achieving that ceiling may be.

I think depth is the one thing we do have. What we don’t have are players who are currently viewed as impact prospects. But the fact that there are things to like about players ranked at #40, instead of just being considered organizational filler, says depth to me.

Ain't no Posey like a Buster Posey cause a Buster Posey don't stop...hitting.

one more interesting thing about Willoughby

he is from Colombia. Increases the chance Shakira starts attending games.

With Graham off the board..

Dunnington looks good to me. I wonder if he may get a shot at starting.
