Was that our Goofus on KNBR this afternoon ever so patiently trying to explain to Fitz and Brooks why it might not be the best idea to trade our entire farm system for Albert Pujols and pay him 200 million dollars? The KNBR team didn't seem to understand that we might not actually be able to resign some of those great pitchers and that having one star and a bunch of Michael Edgardo AJ Alfonso Pierzynski Tucker's is not so great a model. Their response was that if we get Pujols we'd win more and we'd be able to have a Yankee type payroll. I was having an eye roll.
