Adopt a Giant
Maybe a separate post below for each letter of the alphabet? dunno...
It is set up with players last name, first name and then whoever adopted that player/person etc.
You can keep a player if they have gone elsewhere, cuz you know...once he turns 47 the Giants might just re-sign him.
Oh and this is just for informational purposes... please DON'T reclaim your player or claim a new one or anything else at this point. We'll sort all that out in late February? at the actual adoption draft.
Who the hell knows who the Giants will trade/sign/dfa between now and then?

For the sake of information, I am putting in my claim or intention or airy leaning to the adoption of Johnson, Charles, the absurdly rich, powerful, and late septuagenarian major stockholder in the Giants, and therefore (according to Mark Purdy) the most resonant voice on the Giants board of directors, and the guy who holds the purse strings tightly and deftly enough to make the purse dance like a giddy marionette. Yes, Johnson, Charles for me as my own adoptee, whenever the choice of adoptee gets beyond the informational stage.

This is a huge help, especially with SBN’s search engine going kaput. I did indeed run the adoption draft last year, and, while it will depend on my workload and such come February, it looks like right now that I will be able to run it again.
It was pretty orderly and quick last year. The year before was a mess. It was OK until a it was a young poster’s turn (who doesn’t post much anymore, sfoakbay) and it became a big mess.
