According to just about everyone, Yoenis Cepedes is the real deal. A Cuban defector who can hit for power, good average, has speed, and solid defense in the outfield. To me, it sounds like a good fit for the Giants in the outfield lacking much pop. Yet I have yet to see anyone making connections between him and the Giants. Right now we have an outfield consisting of Torres and Ross (who might be out the door) Scheirholtz, Cabrera, and Belt (who I would rather see at first). We dont have any top tier outfielders right now. Why not take a chance on this guy?
What do you guys think?
