Please San Diego Win the Wild Card

This may sound very anti Giant, but I am hoping against hope that the Padres beat out the Braves and win the Wild Card.  If the Braves win the wild card and we win the division then we have to face the Phillies. The Braves cannot face the Phillies because they are in the same division so we would then have a series with the Phillies. If Padres win, they play the Phillies and we play the Reds. I like our chances much better against the Reds than the Phillies. If the Padres win the division and we win wild card, we have to face the Phillies. Philadelphia looks very dominant right now. WIth their 1-3 rotation being Roy Hallady, Cole Hamels, and Roy Oswalt. They have maybe the best offense in the MLB. Ryan Howard, Chase Utley, Jayson Werth, Shane Victorino, to name a few. Also, Plácido Polanco, Raúl Ibañez, and Carlos Ruiz are all quietly putting up great years. I am not saying we can't beat the Phillies, but the Reds are a more beatable team. This is not to say we will steam roll over them, they'll be competitive, So I say please Padres, please, win that damn wild card and challenge the Phillies.
