The Giants are God's chosen team. God was a most great Giants fan, and upon them awarded much success and many championships. But the Giants became too content with their fortunes and did not thank God for all he had given. Their hubris became their downfall into sin. And into sin they went.
God had given the Giants a Garden of Eden, and he told the Giants to be merry and play, but warned them never to follow the evil snake. But the Giants, filled with hubris, followed the snake out of the Garden and into the desert.
For this, God punished the Giants. He banished them to a land where from the dirt nothing could grow, and the wind would rip their faces. But the Giants still did not turn to God. So God made the ground tremble under the Giants.
If God were an architect – and who knows, He could be – I’m convinced that He designedAT&T Park. Just finished taking a lap around the main concourse, which, between the foul lines, is uncovered and allows fans to gaze at the Bay Bridge
But God still loved the Giants, and those that still loved him learned of a great hero who would save the Giants. It was prophesied that "The One Called Buster" would come to the Giants and lead them to victory most glorious. And then the Giants would see that this miracle could be accomplished by no one but God and to him they would turn.
