So I was at the Quakes Giants game last night and it was a very interesting experience. Here are a few observations:
-There were some pretty hard hit balls at times. Peguero, Perez, and Simmons had some pretty hard hit balls late in the game. They were hit just shy of home runs, all three hits going to the warning track.
-Also Peguero was in RF and Perez was in CF and man they both have pretty awesome throwing arms. Perez really surprised me.
-Adrianza was kind of sloppy defensively. He mad a good catch early in the game but bobbled a ball that allowed a runner to 3rd and a runner to 1st and also threw the ball away at home to try to prevent a run which allowed the run to score. He had a very good AB though where he drew a walk after fouling off a lot of pitches.
-Perez was absolutely atrocious on the base paths though. He originally made in base via error and was promptly picked off and then was caught stealing later on, completely messing up any kind of rally the Giants had.
-Culberson was solid defensively and offensively (and he has an insane curly mullet) and man Adrianza looks so young he has such a babyface.
So here are some pictures I took that I felt were good enough to upload here (sorry I don't have a good telephoto lense and was sitting behind the net so you can see that).
