San Jose lost the the fourth game of the Cal League championship series. Their most notable individual performance was Ehire Adrianza reaching base in all three plate appearances.
A+: San Jose lost to Rancho Cucamonga(tying the best-of-five series at 2-2)
San Jose: CF Juan Perez: 1 for 4, CS, PO
San Jose: 2B Charlie Culberson: 2 for 4
San Jose: SS Ehire Adrianza: 2 for 2, 2B, BB, E
San Jose: SP Oliver Odle: 5.2 IP, 5 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 1 BB, 2 K--1 IBB, 1 WP
San Jose: RP Edwin Quirarte: 1.0 IP, 1 K
Ranco Cucamong: SP Manuel Flores: 8.0 IP, 5 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 1 BB, 4 K--2 PO
With two hits each, the Giants' two middle infielders, Culberson and Adrianza, combined for four of the Giants' six hits. Adrianza also drew the team's only walk while he reached base in all three plate appearances, but he also committed his 3rd post-season error. Perez, who had a 17/15 SB/CS line during the regular season, was twice picked off first base.
Odle was perfect through the first three innings and kept the game scoreless through five innings but allowed a couple runs in the 6th inning. This was one of his best starts of the season given that he had allowed less than 3 ER only once in his last ten starts. Quirarte pitched a perfect 8th inning. The Angels' Flores, who had a 4.23 ERA in seventeen Cal League starts this year, shut out the Giants through eight innings, facing just four batters over the minimum.

went to the game last night
Adrianza had a very good second (i think) ab fought off a lot of pitches and was able to work a walk but defensively didnt look great. He threw the ball away at home and bobbled another ball. Culberson looked pretty good defensively at 2b. It was a bad night offensively for the little Giants and their sp wasnt bad but their reliever Anderson didnt look good. Botched pickoff throw and didnt look great in general. Juan Perez looked terrible on the base paths. A big thing was that in the 6th or 7th Peguero, Perez both hit the ball very hard and fell short of homeruns at the warning track.
