Giants rotations quiz, 1980-2009
This was sort of fun. I scored at the 94th percentile!
There's a glitch - Jerome WIlliams has his name spelled with one 'L' for one of the answers.

That was awesome. Goes a little too far back for me to know (I’m 24) but I did pretty well from 93 through current. I did forget some obvious ones! (Livan Hernandez)
It’s interesting seeing who you forgot about … I honestly don’t remember Jamey Wright making 21 starts in 2006. Must have blocked that out.
Thanks
Burkett totally slipped my mind. When I was younger (im only 23) it seemed like Billy Swift pitched every game
I felt really proud of myself for getting all the 80s rotations completely — particularly for pulling RIpley and Folkes out of my nether regions. Although I did waste a bunch of time trying out 100 different possible spelling variations of Ed Halicki before giving up on him, and I couldn’t figure out why Al Holland wasn’t accepted until I finally remembered we used him mostly as a closer, although I’m certain he had an opening day assignment in 1982 or 83.
On the other hand, I was amazingly completely incapable of thinking up Randy Johnson, despite having been present at his 300th victory barely a year ago. And a very last second memory jolt brought the very very obvious Dave Dravecky and Bud Black into my mind.
My Bucardo is better than yours.
A hot August weekday, before a small crowd, when the only thing at stake is the tissue-thin difference between a thing done well and a thing done ill. Insofar as the clutch hitter is not a sportswriter's myth, it is a vulgarity, like a writer who writes only for money.
I’m very impressed with your 80’s sweep. I totally failed with a 69th percentile. I blame the early morning hours and lack of sufficient sleep. I missed Krukow, Gardner, Bud Black, LaCoss, Tomko, Trevor Wilson…. yikes. This was not an encouraging way to start a Monday.
While you were reading this, Carlos Willoughby just stole second base.
I missed Tomko, too. I don’t know how I did that. And LaCoss was the very last person I came up with, despite the fact that I played against him in High School many times and really should have been able to come up with him alot sooner. As for the 80s sweep, I should say I probably never ever would have come up with Jeff Robinson if the system hadn’t given him to me in a Robinson sweep when I was going for Don Robinson.

jcb9 would rule at this. I , however, suck.
Utter frustration and futility.
