I don’t think it’s necessary to take a pitcher out if he throws one bad inning, especially when his pitch count is relatively low. I agree with the decision to keep him in.

Zito was getting squared up in that inning. It’s usually pretty obvious when he loses his effectiveness. It happened in the 6th inning.
