you must predict the exact MLB and/or minor league players involved excluding any player to be named more than 48 hrs later. This transaction must involve trading of players on both sides, not simply a cash deal. In the case of a three way deal, only the players traded by and to the Giants need be named. Duplicate prizes will not be awarded: in case of two or more accurate entries, the first tiebreaker is closest to the nominal dollar impact on the Giants. The second tiebreaker if needed is the time of entry: earliest entry would win. No entry posted within 8 hours of the public announcement will be valid. Limit two entries per person. Nogooddeed will be the sole arbiter of any protests, and will make arbitrary decisions based on personal appearance and odor. Employees of the Giants and those of Swedish descent are not eligible. Employees, owners, and moderators of McCC may enter but their entries could possibly be placed in our favorite dumpster on upper Buchanan. Preference may be shown to those who recommend this post, or any others by nogooddeed. Winner (ha; if any) will be posted in the lobby of the Russ Building and on McC 72 hours after the trade is announced. Winner (again, good luck) will be responsible for delivery costs outside SF/ the Peninsula. Losers should blame Grant. Your mileage may vary. Check with your doctor to be sure you are healthy enough for this activity.
Yes, you can win a mint condition BLB rookie card by simply predicting the Giants next trade. Yes, I know there are 18 different "rookie cards" for BLB. I haven't looked at my cards for several years but it is not the Tiffany one. I think it is the Donruss. At any rate, it is real. If it isn't worth at least $25 I'll throw in some others. Maybe a mint 1959 Eddie Bressoud.
entries should be posted as comments to this fanpost and have this form:
Giants obtain: (names of player(s))
Giants give up: (names of player(s))
nominal cash impact to Giants including cash and/or salary:( plus or minus)$ (amount)
Good luck, junior Sabeans.
