Does anyone else think that Lincecum pitched pretty well today?
but was hurt by slightly off location and Whiteside’s reluctance to call a changeup. Now I’m fairly sure “Josh L”‘s going to tell me that he let in four ER. But take a look at gameday. Lincecum rarely threw his change up (his best pitch) and his velocity was as high as it’s been the last few years. If anyone deserves the blame for this misery, it’s probably the Giants offense.
