07:14 AM ET 06.03 | It seems Arizona is thinking of more sweeping changes than adding Dontrelle Willis. The Diamondbacks' disastrous first two months of the season have prompted the club's ownership to consider all avenues of change, including a drastic retooling of the major league roster. But Managing General Partner Ken Kendrick said all areas of the organization are under review, from General Manager Josh Byrnes' baseball operations department on down to the players, whom Kendrick says are drastically underperforming.

I was hoping this was going be about Byrnes being put On Notice by Stephen Colbert

He’s dead to me.

Utter frustration and futility.

that seems crazy reactionary to me. Haren isn’t pitching well, and of course Webb’s injury is catastrophic but firing the GM? I hear Steve Phillips is available…

Getting swept by the Giants is usually the trigger for a team going into panic mode.

I would love to see Phillips in charge of ARI's roster

after what he said about Strasburg for Oswalt.

Although, I think Bochy would be too tempted to use AJ Hinch as his catcher.

Pitching well at…This Space For Rent Park in SF this year by Johnson is probably largely down to him facing the Giants and their utterly toothless offense.

I’m going to file "utterly toothless offense" away for later perusal.

This Space For Rent Park in SF

This one bother me the most because people make it sound like the Giants are selling their naming rights every other season. In fact, the right have belonged to the same entity all along. It isn’t the Giants fault that Pac Bell turned into SBC turned into AT&T.

Jim’s douche factor makes it extra sweet when that fucking team sucks ass.

Hey now.

Be kind to our beleaguered SB brethren.
They’re under a lot of stress.
But they’re working hard to clean things up, both on the field …and in the ’Pit.

Now the only difference between them and PR is that in Colorado God is a Mod.

Chief, thanks for the freedoms.

Well here's where our wheels would fall off.
No false posts about activity on the field during a game. It might shock you, but some people actually use the Game Day Threads as a way to follow a game and get a more accurate, timely depiction of the game.

TV/radio stations stations have boycotted AZ. All we have is the Intwerwebs.

And no one except the privileged can afford MLB – TV.

On a serious note , Los Lobos just canceled.
I’m a fan, but apparently there might have been two of us in the paper. Bunch of tasteless waste out here.
Of course, this also gives weight to the speculation that these acts weren’t selling well anyway, so…

I thought the purpose of gamethreads was to make butt pee jokes and curse a lot.

And when we win, post dancing gifs. Does anywhere else do that?

a douchetastic lack of self-awareness too

considering their mallpark changed names too for the exact same reason ours did.

Whatever though, they can go play in their mallpark’s pool watching their shitty team.

the scary thing for us is that the Dbacks have failed despite having a loaded minor league system. This is the kind of thing that reinforces people like Sabean and Bochy in their desire to stick with veterans with “proven track records.”
