I hate NBC broadcasts. It’s always amateur hour with the technical difficulties. And since I’m stuck with KMAX, not HD.

So I was in downtown SLO last night, and saw a dude wearing a Reds hat. So I promptly (was a little drunk at the time) yelled “F the Reds!” He replies “They just drafted me.” So I was like “Damn, that’s really cool, actually”. I felt like a total douche. Turned out to be a cool guy. Matt Leonard was his name. Can never have too many Cal Poly grads in the bigs.

At that point, he just was happy to be drafted. He was told prior to the draft that he’d likely be picked around the 25th round.

The second Sabean re-signed it became one of my most hated Sabean moves of all times, but even I have didn’t expect him to be this bad. You have to think that he’ll improve his line at least a bit, no? Not enough to justify anything, but still.
