yeah i signed up for mlb.tv and didnt know about the local area blackouts
basically they know where you live based on ip address, and they will block out games because they prefer you to watch it on tv. Which is kinda lame. Sometimes Im not close to a tv and would like to watch the game over the internet, which is what I thought I was paying for.
But anyways, I have to use a remote proxy (either in WA or Orlando) to watch these games through MLB.tv.
I live in southern Oregon and its blacked out here too… sooo frustrating. we are in both Seattle and Bay Area team markets, but we only get the Seattle regional sports. So i’m effed on watching any Giants…
