Finally Zito has pitched like he has been paid to, like an ace.  Rowand is playing great. Rowand has always tried hard and played good defense, but the offense has just come in flashes, he is hitting well. Renteria has been a very poor hitter, but has had copious injuries. I think he can be a good hitter if he is healthy. Bengie has hit well, played good defense, but has turtle like speed. Huff has been hitting and playing some nice defense. DeRoza has sucked, but I expect him to come back, he is consistent, and plays good defense. DeRoza is also a very good clubhouse guy and versitile. Uribe is a great utility guy and has proved valuable. Sanchez has not been healthy, but he is a gamer, a good defender, and a good hitter. I expect him to come back and hit . Have the Giants overpaid, and have the players disappointed? Hell Yes! But finally these guys are helping us win games. When healthy the Giants offense is average to above average. If we can stay healthy, our elite pitching and some run support will win us the division.
