RIP Ernie.

Rafael Rodriguez: #8 on our list, tearing up Scottsdale, and has been alive long enough to see the Warriors make the playoffs once.

Jon Miller was talking about him on the radio. It sounded like he was almost in tears. I’m not familiar with Harwell, but I respect anyone that was a part of this game for so long. Rest in peace.

You will be missed Ernie. Only announcer to ever be traded to a team, and also called Thomson’s shot for the Giants on TV. RIP Ernie.

Really sad, I had never known he was a New York Giants broadcaster until I watched his interview with Costas which was really interesting. RIP

I was able to hear him doing Tigers games in the mid to late 90’s when he did TV for then-PASS network. Great voice to listen to. Now we only have Vin left among the old timers. RIP.

I know you nerds know NOTHING about the real game of baseball, or any other athletic endeavor requiring teamwork under physical stress.

Jon Miller was teary on-air last night. I wondered where Dave was and why he didn’t step in, but it was also appropriate at the same time. It definitely made me cry. Good night, Mr. Harwell.
