OT: Pie V. Cake the Final Showdown

Red Velvet v. Cheesecake for the title

CHEESECAKE
Despite its name, cheesecake is a creamy pie — like a DNA test to determine paternity, the cheesecake’s crusty base, that which holds it together, confirms it is a pie. It is a versatile creation, lending itself to a variety of preparations that can pleasantly occupy and challenge cooks while pleasing a wide swatch of palates. Cheesecakes can be baked or unbaked; they can be made with heavy cream or sour cream or, of course, a variety of cheeses, ranging from cottage cheese to cream cheese to ricotta or mascarpone or any other soft cheese product.

Bochy: What’s this fancy stat here?
IT Guy: That’s how often they get on base. I do not know why you keep asking me, I am here to fix your server.

How does cheesecake beat all the more deserving (and actual!) pies to make the finals? My mind is blown. And strawberry-rhubarb has a legitimate gripe over not making the field. That said, cheesecake should crush red velvet.

FUCK STUBHUB

I misread a date and bought tix for a Monday (memorial) day game instead of a Wednesday.
They graciously offered that I could sell them to someone else on stub hub, rather than just negate the transaction (I called them within 5 minutes).

They take a $10 cut from the seller and a $15 cut from the buyer (or vice-versa) – with no guarentee that I could resell the ticket.

I called my credit card and told them to reverse the charges. Then I bought tickets from a scalper.

Sure, it’s important to stay in your seat during God Bless America, but the reason God blesses us is the freedom to get up even when you shouldn’t. I guess this is a longwinded way of saying I think people should be allowed to get up from their seats and leave during God Bless America.
