No Giants game today, sitting at work waiting for contract approval= it's a dog-dangling afternoon. Was going through pics we took last week at a Nationals-Dodgers game (I planned my DC visit specifically so I could boo the Dodgers) and remembered how nice that stadium was- tons of space, no lines, well designed, very patriotic; it might be my new favorite non-SF stadium.
So here's the proposition- either your favorite away stadium or rank all of the other stadiums you've visited.
My humble submission:
Nationals Park - really was a pleasant experience
Petco - everyone was nice, awesome how it is surrounded by bars and a social scene, weather was obviously amazing
Citi Field - aside from a terrible layout to get to the cheap seats it has a nice mix of food, good views, and was remarkably clean; will be there next weekend for the Giants visit and looking forward to it
Oakland Coliseum - first time i'd seen pizza sold by the seat vendors, found it easy to sneak to better seats
Angels Field - the last time i was there was game 7, so i've pretty much blocked it from my mind
Dodgers Stadium - i'd rather pass a kidney stone.
I've been to a few minor league and spring training stadiums, but I'm not counting those. The Coney Island stadium was pretty cool, though, just being right on the beach and they really, really push the beer there.
