DeRosa looked like a pinata yesterday.  He may miss a game or two as a result of being beaned twice.  I am STILL disgusted that no Giant pitcher had Rowand's back.  The guy took one in the face from a known headhunter and was DL'd as a result.  The Giants have been pathetic offensively ever since.  Rowand may be below average as an OF hitter - but he's a hell of a lot better than anything else the Giants can put in center.

DeRosa said there was no "intent".  But its more than that.  Giant pitchers have  to protect their hitters.    Intent or no intent he got drilled twice.  Retaliation is required.

I am still amazed that Kemp or Ethier didn't get drilled.  So today, I repeat - Pujois or Holliday better get one in the ribs.  And it should happen on their first at-bat- circumstances permitting.
