Spring Training Help

Hey everyone,

My father is turning 50 next spring, and I was thinking of something great to get him, something he will never forget. My dad deserves the best gift, as he works really hard day in and day out to provide for my family, while also battling through Leukemia and prostate cancer within the past 10 years. What can I say, he's a trooper, and I love him to bits.

Since I was born, him and I have dreamed of going to Scottsdale for a few days during spring training, play some golf, and enjoy the sweet game of baseball. I know this is extremely early to bring up due to the fact that spring training ended a couple weeks ago, but I just want some of your feedback. I know some of you out there have taken trips to spring training in the past, and I just wanted to know the cheapest way to stay there and soak up the scene. It would be great to have some advice as to how to get there, where to stay, where to eat, and what to do around Scottsdale in the spring of next year.

Thank you for any insight you can provide me, as I would like to look into this as soon as possible. My dad is my idol and I know for a fact that this will make him the happiest man alive.

And sorry if this is formatted wrong, or totally off topic (which it is) but I feel this is important to me as of now, and would appreciate any help I can get.

Thank you and go Giants!
