Did anyone catch the “for those of you reading from Wisconsin”…reference?

I have a friend from the Milwaukee area. Trust me, the people of Wisconsin are very keen on the comings and goings of one Ryan Rohlinger.
THAT’S HOW IT WORKS

This is good.
I am glad the DLed Scott. In fact I surprised they did it instead of trying to hide him on teh bench as has been done in the past with banged up veterans in the Bochey/Sabean Era.
That a Boy Sabs.

I did think Baggs’ take on it was interesting. They had to convince Rowand that he can’t play with a broken face. Seriously, don’t teams decide who to put on the DL, or does the player have to agree? I don’t know where to look for that info.
I think Baggs is a class act.
He knows Rowand is a lightning rod. With Lewis now gone heis the best example on the 25 man of what the Bochey & Sabean era does wrong. Reminding us the his “parents” have to drag him off the field to eat diner is good way to to make us critics of the current managment team see our younger selves in him and to drive home the point he realy loves playing the game and probably gets “it”. It being that he is lucky to be grown man getting paid to play a kids game.

Even though the "gamer" thing has become something of a joke.
Anyone who has to be talked out of playing with a broken face is alright with me.

eh
I broke 3 bones in my face in January in a bike wreck, and I was up and around the next day, back on the bike 2 days after. It’s not necessarily a big deal. There are lots of teeny tiny bones in there taht are fairly easily broken.

What makes me sad about this
The Giants have a $12M player going on the DL, and I can’t say I really think the team is any worse without him. Well, except for we’ll get even more VROOM.
Based on the Schierholtz, Velez, Torres outfield we saw the other night… I’ve actually become remarkably convinced remarkably quickly that the team is worse without him.

But that was because DeRosa is out as well. And because Bochy loves VROOM. Derosa, Torres/Schierholtz, Bowker would be fine with me.
Never underestimate Bochy’s willingness to play Velez and bat him leadoff.
I feel prickishly demanding!
I couldn't be prouder of my recent adoptee - Tim Lincecum's dealer. He provides the secret fuel behind both Cy Youngs. Also, he taught Timmy the change-up.
