You can have Lincecum when you pry him from my cold dead hands.

Yeah, good luck with that champ. I would worry more about being able to keep your own young players after 2012, those divorce proceedings are not looking any better.
Bochy: What’s this fancy stat here?
IT Guy: That’s how often they get on base. I do not know why you keep asking me, I am here to fix your server.

The Giants are more likely to get Matt Kemp and Andre Ethier than the Dodgers getting Tim Lincecum. Lincecum may not be a Giant after he can become a free agent but he won’t be a Dodger.
The Giants offseason moves - "meh"
Proud father of 2-time Cy Young Award winner Tim Lincecum, who could do whatever he wants to do.
Pretty much.

Then again if a person like Mark Cuban buys the team, all bets are off.

You think Selig or his gentlemen’s club of owners will let that happen even after Selig is gone?

New commish, Cuban will bribe him to allow him in.

The commish from Selig on to the end of time will always be an owner… unless they prop up W. as a front man.
Someone explain to me how MLB keeps their anti-trust exemption with such blatant ownership collusion?

Because sports are treated very, very well in the US legal system. Several sports have specific legal protections, such as in non-profit law, where the NFL gets special protections because, well, it’s the NFL.
Eagerly anticipating adding to my Giants family.

More of that same quote:
Our pitching is more of a combination of parts for us
Yeah, so is ours, buddy. Lincecum’s the face that seduces your exwife, Cain’s the heart that wins her over and Zito’s the pocket full of loot used to elope. Sanchez and Romo are the arms that block the door of the honeymoon suite and Wilson’s the tattooed fist that knocks you out when you try make a move.
And Molina’s the lovely old housekeeper that cleans up the mess. Suck it, Russel Martin.
I read that earlier
I didn’t take it as they were going to get Lincecum, but that he believes Cryshaw is going to match him. (Yeah no)
I hate the Dodgers, but “Cryshaw” is a legite pitcher and scares the shit out of me.
Matt Graham is an anagram for .... why don't you ask the scrabble expert!

He owns the Giants because they swing at everything. A team with more patience will have success again Kershaw. His BB/9 is very Jonathan Sanchez-like. Of course, he is still a very young man so I expect that he will get better.

+1
I think right now he’s very inconsistent but he’s still really young and he’ll probably get a lot better. So yes in the future he could be very scary.

r.i.p. buster posey
Meh, he may be legit, but is a Dodger who was picked in the same draft(higher up) than Tim(though he was out of high school) and is at a Sanchez-like level. His xFIP last season was 3.9 because of his enormous walk rate. He doesn’t scare me at all, hell, I hope he does well just because it would suck to see someone with his stuff fade away from greatness(kind of like Sanchez). But I say, with a small shadow of doubt, that he will not be a 2 time CY winner by the time he is 25.

Nothing good can come from a Chris Haft article.

yeah
For decades — from the Say Hey-day of Willie Mays and Willie McCovey, through the eras of Jack Clark and Will Clark, then on to Barry Bonds’ reign — the Giants were renowned for slugging.
Yeah, who ever heard of Juan Marichal anyway? Or Gaylord Perry? They sucked.
Giants pitching coach Dave Righetti. "I treat Timmy differently from most pitchers: I leave him alone."
Bengie Molina: "I don't understand why they didn't want to commit to another year, with my numbers and my experience and things like that." Brain Sabean: "He's certainly welcomed back with open arms".

Yeah, they had a nice 10 year run... 50 years ago.
The SF Giants are traditionally a hitting team.
