I think you would all be interested to hear that Tim Lincecum and Thomas Neal just made the Hall of Fame in my OOTP franchise.

Tim went 314-120 with a 2.81 ERA and 4,246 career strikeouts. He won 10 Cy Young awards.

My latest BM game has Johnson @ 5298. He played 2 more years with the Giants and still had the quality to keep playing (rated in mid 80s) but he retired after i released him.

Tim will get his 100th win in 2013. Started the season in 2009.

I was a human changeup

one year we had this really good kid (who I think ended up getting drafted out of high school but as far as I know didn’t go anywhere) who threw absolute gas. He’d start the game and pitch for a while and then every now and again they’d bring me in to pitch after him and everyone was always way out in front of my “fastball.”

the rest of the time I was a slick fielding infielder who couldn’t hit much

I was a bit of a utility player

Played some third base, some second base, some catcher. Also some outfield, but I was a TERRIBLE defensive outfielder. My judgement on fly balls sucks.
