PrintEDIT: YES TWO PEOPLE CAN DRAFT AT ONCE. IF #2 HAS NOT DRAFTED YET, BUT #3, 4, 5, 6, AND 7 HAVE DRAFTED, #2 AND #8 ARE ON THE CLOCK.
And now we begin. Let's go over how this is going to work. Below is the draft order, I'll be letting two people draft at a time (for the first, I'll let Lars pick his first pick first and then I'll put Goofus and myself up. If you can figure out that you should be drafting, then you can draft. But every so often I'll be updating the title of the FanPost with the names of the people who are up to the plate.
WHO YOU CAN DRAFT
Anyone related to the Giants organization. Here is the 40-man Roster. Here is the Non Roster Invitee list. Here are the coaches and trainers. Here are the Front Office people. Here is the broadcasting team. Here is SF Dugout's community prospect list (more comprehensive than our own). They are not limited to these resources, perhaps there's a career minor leaguer you want to draft, and that's fine. For you, at least. We already knew you were strange.

If I remember from last year’s draft, the reason for having two people draft is that the draft can progress if one person isn’t drafting. Could be wrong though.

A good point, but at the same time I understand progressing in the interests of time. Personally I’m happy to wait as long as necessary, especially since I anticipate very little being left once it gets to me. And rotorueter has very graciously offered to wait, so there’s no real harm in waiting.

Seeing as how this whole site is probably a huge waste of time for all of us (every one of Grant’s payroll checks to us mods has bounced), “in the interest of time” isn’t really a compelling reason. It’s not like there’s any negative repercussions if the draft isn’t completed by a certain date.

I think last year we had a thread for nothing but picks and a thread for commentary. It made keeping track of when your turn was coming / who was already drafted waaaay easier to only have draft posts to read thru.

Or more radically, we can pre-assign draft time, like a 24-hour window, and we stagger people an hour apart…
