For those of you who own MLB 2k10, why can't i advance past the first season in My Player mode? If i try to sim to the next season the game seems to sim over the whole season and no games are played. Basically, it skips entire seasons when i sim so help?

Has that game
gotten any better. I havent even thought about purchasing one since i tried 2k8. The game was a joke. I have just been sticking to MVP Baseball 2004/2005. haha
It's just a plant, it grows in the earth, and if you happen to set it on fire there are some effects...
It is actually great. ive played two full seasons with created player and there was only one glitch where there was a runner on third and i was on second. I could try to steal third to get a head start on the pitch but they wouldn’t throw me out.

another question
Is the pitching still with the right analog stick and is it smooth or does it still feel like u are playing with a robot?

Its pretty much the same as last years but it is much more sensitive to overthrows.

another MVP 2005 holdout here
Since I had $25 to spend at Best Buy, I took a chance on the PC version of 2k10 (paying only $7), and I’m having fun with it so far, particularly the My Player mode. It’s a big improvement over last year’s crapfest, but just about anything would be. There are still some minor issues I’ve found here and there, but so far, nothing glaring that makes it unplayable.
And according to its highly accurate simulations, Matt Cain wins the Cy Young in 2011.
I still believe in Bowkermania.

It’s a LOT better glitch-wise.
My guy is a power-hitting left fielder, and in my first season the Giants won the World Series against the Angels.
SWEET REVENGE.

Like Eugenio!
Proud parent of the new dominant pitching sensation out of San Diego State University.
I just got it the other day, so I haven’t played it a whole lot yet. But in the My Player mode, I made a catcher, and whenever it switches to fielding opportunities, the pitcher never lets me catch pop-ups (taking away the points I was set to earn). He runs over and cuts me off, even if it’s right at the plate. Also, if the throw to first pulls the first baseman off the bag and he goes back to touch it, the runner is safe, even if he’s clearly out.
