I LOL’d at that, too.
Jonathan Sanchez: Often maddening to watch, but capable of perfection on a moment's notice---just like his adoptive father.
I’d love to stash him in the minors or something. But he doesn’t fit THE GIANTS WAY

He might be our best first baseman.

Not related to off-the-field issues and:

Brian: GODDAMMIT!! NOW I HAVE TO TURN ON THIS TELEVISION ON MY DESK!
Susan: /sigh….Brian, I keep telling you, that isn’t a television. It is a computer.
Brian: Oh yeah, that’s right. Now how do I change the channel?
Susan: I’ll just print the email and put it on your desk. Also, I have Bow Ti…err…I mean, Mr. Neukom on line 1.

I thought he had been keeping more or less out of trouble since he got there. Odd. (And there’s no way they released him for ‘baseball reasons’, seeing as he had a minor league option yet.)

Aren’t we giving those types of guys 2 years 12 million dollar contracts? Either that or getting ready to DFA them.

You could make a pretty good team out of guys like this. Ron Hunt leaps to mind. Alex Johnson. Can a truly great player be discontent? Seems like outstanding play gets you your way 9 times out of 10. Dick Allen is the only counter example that comes to mind. I know people will think Albert Belle, but he seemed to get along with his teammates pretty well.
