Bumgarner struggled Thursday (two innings, three hits, four walks) and spent Friday morning examining video. He thinks he detected a flaw in his release and will work on it before his first Cactus League start Monday. His first two outings were in relief.
"I had a little problem with mechanics, but I think we've got it figured out," Bumgarner said. "Nothing major. That's why we have spring training."
