PrintSo i decided to pull out the dusty, glitchy, ole MLB 2k9 the other day and i started simulating seasons like crazy. After many unrealistic free agent signings and trades later, (there was a payroll) i came across a new, revamped San Fransisco Giants! My lineup consists of...
1) Nick Markakis RF
2) Pablo Sandoval 3B
3) Prince Fielder 1B
4) Jay Bruce CF
5) Buster Posey (created player, realistic in my opinion) C
6) John Bowker LF
7) Juan Uribe SS (cheap and he hit 21 dingerz)
8) Brian Bocock 2B (15 dingerz and a .271 avg)
Bench
Nate Scheirholtz
Rotation
1) Tim LIncecum
2) Madison Bumgarner (created player, not so realistic)
4) Barry Zito (redid his contract to 4 million a year)
5) One of those made up minor leaguers
Bullpen
4 made up minor leaguers
Regular Season record: 90-72
Remember, I did this while staying in payroll and the easy trade cheat off! If only this could really happen....

If you use the roster update, Posey and Bumgarner are in the game. Posey is “A. Penn” on the major league roster, and Bumgarner is Bumgarner in AA. I have no idea why they would include one’s actual name and not the other, since they both made the majors last year.
They also have something called 2KShare, where you can share your created players with others. I downloaded a Bonds one and he wouldn’t show up in Franchise mode. I’m wondering if his name is blocked from even being played.
But yeah, there are lots of unrealistic trades available. I traded F. Sanchez and Velez for Heyward and Prado.
Yea i don't have Xbox live though.
