Adopt A Giant 2010: Second Edition
Here is what's shaping up so far. Perhaps I didn't make it entirely clear in the last thread, but please claim your past adopted Giant in the thread and announce your intentions for the upcoming draft. So far we have the following players claimed by their past parents.....
Here are the draft eligible members so far, this is just the users who want to draft, not the order.
Please, if you want to be added to one of the lists reply in this post and we can start the draft by the middle of the week. Reply whether you want to be added to the drafters list or if you want to claim your old adopted son.
Sorry for the bad quality on these as well. I can't figure out how to export into here from Google Documents so I just .pdf'd them and then changed them into images with paint. I'm running on a nettop I got that has nothing on it.

Tim Lincecum is available
I’m going to make about 20,000 posts the next couple of days to get myself to the top of the draft list.
No Edgar, it's not your fault, it's the fault of the idiot that plays you
Even if someone else drafts him, Sharksrog still gets to be Tim’s crazy uncle, right?
Matt Cain: He'll save children, but not the Dodger children.
"Out, out, Fred Lewis!" - JCTillam Gamerspeare
sharksrog got him last time without stating it, thought it would be the same this year too. Oh this sucks, not that I have comment count to do anything about it.
Crazy Crab despised in the 20th century and beloved in the 21st century. Hey it only took over 20 years, so don't give up hope.
Rog doesn’t really post here anymore, so I would think Tim should be up for grabs. Maybe he’ll reappear if someone claims him.
No Edgar, it's not your fault, it's the fault of the idiot that plays you
That’s what I thought last year, but things didn’t go that way. Rog wouldn’t share him either, I thought I could be a crazey aunt last year. I have references just ask my niece.
Anyways I don’t have the comment count, that’s what happens when you have a life, I guess.

I’d like to keep Jason Jarvis
Adopted brother of Jason Jarvis. To pass the time during the offseason I decided to try my hand at blogging about photography and music.
me too. oh well, he’ll never fall to me.
Proud adoptive daddy for the Big Unit. Thanks for sharing a year of your great career with the Giants and their fans.

I’m surprised he’s available.
I know you nerds know NOTHING about the real game of baseball, or any other athletic endeavor requiring teamwork under physical stress.

Wrong
He threw his no hitter on my 31st birthday. Get your facts straight.
The Giants Way™"If anybody deserves credit for this year’s turnaround it’s these two people, Brian and Bruce," Neukom said. "The encouraging thing is we think we’re back to playing baseball the way it ought to be played."
13—→31…ITS ALL IN THE NUMBERS!!!!!!!!!!!

Ishikawa
He’s hurt and he is like the 3rd option for first base this year, but I won’t give him up. Break out year!
co-dad w/AfDC of
Ishikawa, the Topps Rookie All Star Team's First baseman. Does he get a chance in 2010?
Before I forget Jason...
thanks for doing this again.

Could I take Aubrey Huff?
The very bad man who traded my first son non-tendered my replacement son. F*ck you Brian Sabean. Leave my children alone.
Oh oops my bad. Didnt realize there was a format for this.

And also
last year I had Scott Barnes…and then Ryan Garko..

Well...
you obviuosly cannot have any player deemed important to the teams success, or any one we really like.
I think you should certainly be excluded from adopting Timmy :-)

BTW
I know this isn’t the actual draft, but I’m going to be moving over the next few days and my net access may be spotty. Hopefully there isn’t a lot of demand for a AA team’s kinda silly mascot.

now that Aurilia is gone, I need a new baby
A hearty thank you to Rich Aurilia for all the good memories, and to the Niners for finally getting the uni's (mostly) right.
I'm in
now that Dallas Mcpherson is gone I need another injured post-white whale to draft.
I have finally accepted the fact that I will never win a McCoven award.
Dallas MacPherson is white?
My son is Madison Bumgarner, the Spacebat of pitching prospects. My other son is a Porsche.
Im loosely affiliated with the Giants organization, can I draft myself?

NOT IF I GET YOU FIRST
"But it only takes five future unabombers to take what should be a 400-comment thread and turn it into a 1,200-comment one full of anger… anger I suspect has more to do with the fact that they can’t land the hot chick rather than the fact that we signed Aubrey Huff instead of gave Garko a chance after dealing away a supposedly valuable prospect for him." -mlb22
Read my Cal blog: http://since59.blogspot.com/ Go Bears!
I guess you could technically draft anyone associated with professional baseball, but who would want to adopt Russell Martin?
In the end, America will be remembered for three things: the Bill of Rights, jazz, and baseball.
someone that likes to suck it

I'm keepin my baby! (pablo)
Extremely proud adoptive parent of Paul E. Stanley, hacker extraordinaire. Rescuing moribund Giants lineups since 2008
Thanks to roger
I've never been happier to have Crabs
And a fine job you did raising him last year!
My Bucardo is better than yours.
A hot August weekday, before a small crowd, when the only thing at stake is the tissue-thin difference between a thing done well and a thing done ill. Insofar as the clutch hitter is not a sportswriter's myth, it is a vulgarity, like a writer who writes only for money.
all thanks to you good sir

I need to get my post count up with the false hope of drafting someone even remotely cool.
"Just another ahahahaha... laugher."
bok bok bok... BOCOCK!
I reiterate my concerns about drafting STEVEN JOHNSON! because I feel like someone should support him after that Community Prospect List but I’m afraid of us giving him back. If I draft him, and he leaves, what then?
Papa don't preach
…I’m keeping my Sergio Romo.

I give up my boy and I would love the chance to draft Zach Wheeler, I already have a lock of his hair, if I were to own him on an internet discussion board my shrine would be complete!
Congrats to my soul mate and birth brother Zach Wheeler on being drafted into greatness. Should I just buy my Wheeler jersey now, or wait till my next birthday?

My Giant would most definitely be
Dan Otero!!
I’m in for the draft thingy.

I’m afraid that if I adopt someone his career will be jinxed and Child Protective Services will come and take him away.
just saw this come through on twitter…. I would like to draft/adopt as well. Is it too late?
I don't know anything about minor league players, so I adopted the Coke Bottle, and it's totally grown on me.
