Hot spots to hang in Scottsdale?
I am going to be heading down to Giants spring training in about three weeks. I'll be taking in a few Giants games in Scottsdale, traveling to Tuscon to see them on "the road" and in general, hanging out and relaxing.
Really pumped to see the orange and black in action -- and get a closer look at some of the new guys as well as your Poseys, Baumgardners, etc.
My question for this group -- what are the best restuuraunts and bars in the area for a Giants fan to be at? Its been more than 10 years since I have been in the area.
Any other tips re seats, etc would also be much appreciated.

Papago brewery is amazing! Greatest non-snob bar in Scottsdale and a whole slew of different beers.
Julio G’s is a great mexican restaurant, and someone the other day suggested Don & Charlie’s for it’s memorabilia, they also have an amazing garlic chicken.

I forget the name.. But there was a sick bar & grille. Had a sweet happy hour where they gave you a “tower” or beer (esimated 8-10 beers) for 12$.
They also randomly gave us a free round of jelly bean shots, and cotton candy lol. I’ll try to think of the name

Here you go
after games — Dos Gringos. Did shots w/Benito Santiago there a few years ago. Great patio.
Dinner — Don and Charlie’s, Frasiers Steak House or AZ88. The players love Frasiers. You can’t go wrong with a great steak house.

If you can’t find a hot spot in Scottsdale on your own, I’m not sure if I can help you.
My career path, have you seen it?
It's not like it's July though…
It actually rained all day yesterday.
Q: Did you ever make an offer for Vladimir Guerrero?
Sabean: In a word: No. If we had signed Guerrero or [Gary] Sheffield, we would have been without [Long list of replacement level vets]—obviously not being able to field a competitive team, especially from an experience standpoint, given our level of spending.
